World Book Day
This year’s World Book Day was celebrated on Tuesday 1st March, an opportunity for us to encourage a promote a love of books to our children. All children across school dressed up as their favourite book character. It was great to see all of the wonderful costumes in school.
During the day we were visited by Mel Wardle Woodend, Staffordshire’s Poet Laureate 2019-2022, who worked in school with different classes throughout the day. We were all very excited that Mel worked with Landywood on this very special day.
